The spring is here and the tick season has started. Tick-borne encephalitis, which is caused by ticks, is a very common neurological infection in Latvia, the outcome of which is hard to predict. In the spring, summer and autumn tick activity in Latvia is very high! 

A vaccine is available, and it acts to totally protect from the disease!

We recommend all our patients to get vaccinated against tick born encephalitis!
